✈️ Why I Joined, How It’s Helped, and What I Want to Share as an Independent Travel Advisor
I joined this platform a few months after my first conversation with my business partner, Hema. At the time, I had just come out of 16 years in corporate life and was navigating the uncertainty that came with being made redundant. What felt like a setback ended up giving me something unexpected:
Time- time to reflect, reset, and reconnect with what truly lights me up.
Before that redundancy, I had already completed my Psychology degree while still working full time, long days, late nights, and a determination to build something more meaningful for myself. It wasn’t until months later that this travel opportunity came to me. I was sceptical at first, unsure about stepping into something completely new, but the more I learned, the more it aligned with everything I was craving: freedom, creativity, and the chance to help people experience the world.
Travel has always been woven into the most meaningful chapters of my life. I’ve been fortunate enough to explore incredible destinations like the Maldives, Dubai, India, Mozambique, and beyond. I was proposed to under the northern lights at Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort in Finland and later married on the sun drenched cliffs of Santorini- moments that remind me just how powerful and unforgettable travel can be.
Becoming an Independent Travel Advisor allowed me to turn that passion into purpose.

Freedom to design thoughtful, joy filled journeys for families, couples, and solo travellers.
Beyond travel, I’ve always been the organiser in my family, the one who plans, books, and brings everyone’s ideas to life. I love cooking, and I run a small arts and crafts business where I create handmade resin pieces. Now, as a travel advisor, I get to bring all those strengths together: creativity, organisation, and a genuine love for helping people.
Whether it’s a honeymoon, a solo escape, or a family adventure, I’m here to make the process feel easy, exciting, and completely personal- just like it should.
